LIBRARIAN:

Minimum Qualifications:
a. Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science Documentation with at least
55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and
consistently good academic record.
Experience:
a. At least 13 years’ experience as Deputy Librarian in University library or any other library statutory organization or 18 years’ experience as a College Librarian.
b. Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work.
Desirable: M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation
/Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN:
Minimum Qualifications:
a. Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library with five years’ experience.
b. Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Age: Not more than 45 years
Last Date of Application: 3 weeks from date of advertisement
