Educational Qualifications: A master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record set out in UGC’s Regulation, 2010. 55% marks shall not be insisted for the candidates already working in University systems. And i. Three years service in the AGP of Rs.9000/- as Deputy Librarian and otherwise eligible as per the API’ scoring system and PBAS methodology developed in UGC Regulations with a Ph. D. qualification. Or Experience: At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Age limit: 57 years as on closing date of application.
Desirable: M. Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscript keeping. Knowledge of working in computerized environment.a
